The Illinois Risk and Reach Report is a collaborative effort of three organizations committed to ensuring young children have access to high-quality early childhood programs and services, and equitable opportunities to thrive.
ERIKSON INSTITUTE is the premier independent institution of higher education committed to ensuring all children realize their full potential. Erikson uniquely prepares child development, education, and social work leaders to improve the lives of young children and their families.
We bring the newest scientific knowledge and theories of children’s development and learning into graduate education, professional training, community programs, and policymaking. Our goal is to improve the lives of children and families.
ILLINOIS EARLY CHILDHOOD ASSET MAP (IECAM) OF UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT URBANA-CHAMPAIGN provides information on existing services, the demographics of young children and their families, and state resources that serve young children.
THE FISCAL POLICY CENTER AT VOICES FOR ILLINOIS CHILDREN provides timely, credible, and accessible information and analysis on fiscal issues that affect children, families, and communities. Their work sub-sectiones on state budget and tax policy, as well as fiscal aspects of Voices’ policy priorities, including education, health care, human services, and family economic security.
The Risk and Reach Project is generously funded by:
